ANTI BRIBERY POLICY

UNICERT is committed to applying the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its business activities. Every employee and individual acting for and on behalf of UNICERT is responsible for upholding our reputation and for conducting company business honestly and professionally.
UNICERT has established a zero-tolerance approach against all forms of bribery and corruption, whether direct or indirect, and is committed to acting fairly, professionally and with integrity in all its business dealings and relationships. This Anti Bribery Policy sets out the parameters to prevent the occurrence of bribery and corrupt practices in relation to the businesses of the UNICERT. Third parties engaged to represent UNICERT’s interests must comply with the principles set out in the policy. This policy is to be read in conjunction with the Code of Ethics, Whistleblowing policy and No Gift policy of UNICERT. UNICERT top management are committed to implementing and enforcing effective policies and procedures throughout UNICERT for the prevention, monitoring and elimination of any form of bribery and corrupt practice amongst all employees and within its activities, which include relationships with stakeholders; towards the delivery of efficient services with integrity, in line with UNICERT’s procedure, objectives, policy and national and international aspirations as follows:
  1. Comply with and adhere to the country national anti corruption council including Malaysia anti-Corruption Commission act 2009 (Act 694) and other applicable laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures to which they are bound to observe in the performance of their duties;
  2. UNICERT top management are committed to implementing controls and continuous improvement through UNICERT Anti-Bribery Management System;
  3. Provide channels and encourages reporting on alleged corrupt activities through the UNICERT Whistleblowing policy.
  4. No to give, promise to give, offer, solicit for or receive any gift contrary to the UNICERT No Gift Policy;
  5. Quality Manager/Scheme Manager is responsible for monitoring compliance with the Anti-Bribery Management System and reporting to the UNICERT top Management;
  6. Each employee has a duty to read and understand the policy. Non-compliance with and violation of the policy by an employee may result in disciplinary action by the UNICERT accordance with its policies and procedures and guidelines and/or initiation of legal proceeding against those involved.
